Pre-Recorded Video Guidelines

Dear MusEd’24 Presenter,

Congratulations on your successful application to present at the Malaysian Music Education conference 2024 (MusEd’24). Please find guidelines for your video submission below.

Timeline

19th Apr 2024

Deadline to submit pre-recorded video presentation 

By 30 Apr 2024

We will review all pre-recorded video presentations. If there is a problem with your presentation, we will contact you.

Video Presentation Format

  • Presentations are to be in English or Bahasa Malaysia.

  • Your pre-recorded presentation shall include the presenter’s view, with the MusEd ‘24 virtual background of your choice. 

  • Please ensure the video includes the title of the paper, the authors and affiliation, and a mention to MusEd’24.

  • The video resolution should be of high definition (preferably with HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels in an aspect ratio of 16:9) to prevent any-screening related issues. You may use any meeting software as long as you get a good quality recording and your final file is in MP4 format.  Here are some suggested platforms: 

    • Zoom

    • Microsoft Teams

    • Google Meet

    • WebEx

    • Skype

  • You are welcome to use creative ways for the presentation.

  • Presenters are required to adhere to the allocated pre-recorded video presentation duration as indicated below. If your recording is longer than the allocated time you may be asked to re-record.

Video Submission

Before you upload your pre-recorded video presentations, kindly rename your file to: Mused24_Presentation Type_Name. Please click on the button below to submit your pre-recorded video presentation link.​

Kindly submit your pre-recorded video presentations by 19th April 2024. If you are unable to meet this deadline, please inform the organizer (technical.mused24@gmail.com) as soon as possible with the date by which your presentation will be available, and we will do our best to ensure the presentation is reviewed for quality.
